I spent less time in the Granum Void because you need a Granum Coin that drops from specific enemies. I spent hours in the new Corpus tile set just marveling at the architecture and enjoying slaughtering the enemies for fun. While the quest to get Protea might have been forgettable, the Corpus remaster and the new game mode set in the Granum Void are defiantly welcome additions to the game. Buff her now please! Corpus Remaster and Granum Void Like I said, Protea is super fun to play, but she needs a buff to make her viable at higher levels. I just threw the full energy in because I am greedy. Kind of like Wukong’s cloud walking ability, minus the full energy. I would like… no love, this ability if you came back to reality with full energy and full health. Granted, you might have killed everything around you, but at higher levels a minor tap can kill you. Once you rewind and come back to reality, all that buffing you did is removed and you are back to almost dead. You make it out of the tough situation and buff yourself up with your Grenade Fan while you are in the temporal state. Let me explain: You are on your last leg with no shield, no health, and no way out so you use your Temporal Anchor ability in a last-ditch effort to save yourself. First of all, if you are dying and you hit this ability to save yourself, you just took a snapshot of your death and you should start digging your grave. Temporal Anchor- This is Protea’s ultimate ability and I do not like it one bit. This also works great with Protea’s passive ability. The higher your ability strength, the more stuff that shoots out of it. The dispensary throws out energy, ammo, and health. Dispensary- This ability is a lot like Wisp’s flower poop ability (sorry forgot the name of it.I wouldn’t suggest using it to kill anything over level 50. It is great to spam so Protea’s passive ability kicks in. Blaze Artillery- This ability gives Protea a quick turret that does good damage at lower levels and not-so-good damage at higher levels. The overshield buff is almost as good as Harrow’s. The second mode is a shield buff or overshield. Again, sometimes will throw these grenades out just to get the second mode buffed up with her passive. It is good for a quick crowd control, but the damage over time is not worth the cast. The first mode is a stun grenade that is horrible at higher levels. Grenade Fan- This has two modes to it.I found myself spamming her second ability just to get the buff for my shields. This is amazing when you want to get a huge shield buff from her first ability, Grenade Fan. Passive- Every fourth ability cast grants +100% ability strength. The best part about Protea is her passive ability and her first ability. Even though she is a ton of fun to play, she is not a warframe I would take into a higher level mission. Her abilities tend to have a steep fall-off the higher the level the enemies are. Right now, Protea needs a buff to get on par with most of the warfames in the game. Overall, it wasn’t a bad quest line, just a forgettable one. The rest of the quest leading up to the final fight with Protea had amazing voice acting and the story was great, but it all seemed to be a tutorial for the new game mode and the Corpus ship rework. I spent most of my time waiting for the right moment to strike Protea to stop her from rewinding time. The quest itself was very short and ended with a fight that did not have any great moments to it. Now, if I compared it to The Glass Gambit (Gara warframe quest), I would say it was about equal to the quest line. Comparing Deadlock Protocol quest to Chains of Harrow or The Sacrifice, I would say the quest was a bit of a let down and felt extremely short. The Deadlock Protocol quest was the first quest since The Chains of Harrow to introduce a totally new warframe ( The Sacrifice and Excalibur Umbra does not count). *Minor Quest Spoilers!
